Hi! My name is Amy Josephine, I’m an emerging creative based in Dharug and GuriNgai land, NSW.

Before I can even remember, I’ve been drawing. Everyday after school, I would open my favourite picture books and copy the drawings meticulously, which eventually developed into a passion for illustration and graphic design.

I’m a big daydreamer, with a practice based in handmade, whimsy, and colour. I love drawing from my visual arts and craft skills to create unique design solutions. I’m currently an illustrator and graphic designer for children’s entertainer, Emma Memma, as well as finishing up my Visual Communication degree at Western Sydney University.

For me, visual communication is a powerful tool for societal change, which is why I love to use illustration as a way to explore my culture, language, and community, as well as propel other eco-social causes.

hope to hear from you soon! :-)

I have the privilege to learn, grow, and create on Dharug and GuriNgai land. I pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise that this
land was never ceded.
This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
